Helen is one of the UK's leading Tourism and Events Researchers. From 2001 she was Cumbria Tourism's Research Manager where she provided evidence to inform and develop tourism strategies, and develop tourism businesses, through business and consumer market research.
Over the years she has worked closely with tourism businesses, local authorities, economic development teams, tourism officers, environmental agencies and funding bodies to deliver countless research projects, including online, postal, telephone and face-to-face visitor and business surveys, as well as project-specific business and consumer evaluation to guide marketing campaigns and promotional spend.
She currently works with Research Team EU and our fieldwork teams to guide the development of the business and ensure the quality of our work is up to the clients expectations.
Her own consultancy company Red Research works with us on numerous projects and as a Team Member she helps guide future strategies and research design.
